Reflecting on 2025 - A Turning Point
Share
If I had to pick one word to sum up 2025, it would be transformational.
This year wasn't just about growing businesses. It was about stepping into alignment—personally, creatively, and professionally. I look back at where I started and see a woman who had a vision but hadn’t quite unlocked her full potential yet. Now, standing at the edge of 2026, I feel more grounded, more capable, and more excited than ever before.
Each of my businesses found their rhythm in 2025:
-
Attitudes Studio Salon & Hair Bar continued to thrive, offering not only style and service but community. The salon has become a place of transformation—not just hair, but confidence, connection, and conversation. This year, we also welcomed two new business owners to Attitudes, and what a great addition they’ve been! Their presence has brought fresh energy, new services, and strengthened our culture of collaboration. And we’re not done yet—in 2026, our very amazing stylist Savanna launches her own business, Styled by Sav, which we are happy to say will operate out of Attitudes as well.

Tumbleweed took shape in ways I didn’t fully expect. From custom hats and apparel to meaningful collaborations with other small businesses, Tumbleweed became a creative engine. It’s more than a product—it’s a platform for expression and individuality.

Travel Byrds expanded in big, bold ways. I helped families create unforgettable memories, sent honeymooners to dream destinations, and found myself lit up by the magic of crafting trips that truly matter. I leaned into my role as an advisor and realized that I’m not just booking travel—I’m shaping experiences. I’m also incredibly blessed to work with a company whose values align with mine. Our company retreat in Alaska created some of the best travel memories of my life. It reminded me just how powerful shared experiences can be, and how important it is to surround yourself with people who lift you up and believe in what you’re building.

And on the farm, Little Legends Cattle Co. had its fair share of highs and heartbreaks. We said goodbye to some of our most beloved animals—Reba, Loretta, and Dolly were sold, and both Johnny Cash and sweet Gracie crossed the rainbow bridge. Their absence is deeply felt. But in true Little Legends fashion, we also welcomed new joy. A spunky little donkey named Waylon Jennings joined the crew, bringing laughter, love, and a fresh start. The farm continues to be where I find my peace, even when the path is bittersweet. That connection fuels so many of my creative projects, especially the growing line of farm-themed coloring books.
All of these pieces, which once felt like separate lives, are now woven together into one meaningful mission: to live fully, create fearlessly, and help others along the way.
2025 taught me that you don’t have to choose just one path when your heart leads you down many. You just have to be brave enough to build the road that connects them.
Looking ahead to 2026, I’m dreaming even bigger:
-
Scaling each business with purpose
-
Launching new creative projects
-
Offering more resources for other entrepreneurs
-
Carving out more time freedom
Most importantly, I’m staying committed to growth—not just in business, but as a human.
Thank you for being part of this wild, beautiful journey. Here’s to continued momentum, deeper roots, and higher flights in 2026.
Let’s go.
